Ally Mellor is an artist who lives and works in London, England. She recently finished her Masters in Sculpture at the Royal College of Art in the UK and wanted a website to showcase her work.
We created a quiet, understated design with a typographical logo. The aim is to reflect and enhance the mood of her artwork without overpowering it. The inspiration on this project was centered in the typography, taking cues from the ornate typesetting of 19th Century books, and adopting an old fashioned centered layout.
